Johnstown, Pennsylvania September 2, 2011 – Harrigan’s Café & Wine Deck, located inside the Holiday Inn at 250 Market Street in Downtown Johnstown, is please to announce their seventh Wine Spectator recognition for having one of the most outstanding restaurant wine lists in the world. Harrigan’s Café & Wine Deck is proud to boast Wine Spectator’s Award of Excellence for the seventh consecutive year. This award was given to Harrigan’s based upon its wine list, dinner menu and designated wine program.
Wine Spectator’s Restaurant Awards recognize restaurants whose wine lists offer interesting selections, are appropriate to their cuisine and appeal to a wide range of wine lovers. To qualify for an award, the restaurant’s list must present complete, accurate wine information. It must include vintages and appellations for all selections, including wines available by the glass. Complete producer names and correct spellings are mandatory, while the overall presentation and appearance of the list is also taken into consideration.
The Award of Excellence recognizes Harrigan’s Café & Wine Deck for their commitment to a fine wine list and a wide selection of quality producers, along with a thematic mach to the menu in both price and style. Harrigan’s Café & Wine Deck offers 192 selections by the bottle and 31 wines by glass.
