Holiday Inn Downtown Johnstown Welcomes Executive Chef

JOHNSTOWN, PA – Crown American Associates is pleased to announce that Mr. Daniel Szymanski has been named Executive Chef at the Holiday Inn Downtown, located at 250 Market Street in Johnstown, Pennsylvania.  In his new position, Mr. Szymanski oversees all aspects of food service at the Holiday Inn including managing the kitchen that services Harrigan’s Café & Wine Deck, banquets, outside catering, and private events.  Chef Szymanski was previously the Chef Supervisor at Seven Springs Resort & Conference Center where he was responsible for food preparation and service in two restaurants as well as private parties and large banquet events.  He was also responsible for meal pricing, direct ordering, inventory control, and payroll.  Chef Szymanski supervised over 20 chefs and cooks, as well as overseeing 15 additional kitchen employees.  Chef Szymanski is a graduate of the Westmoreland County Community College Culinary Arts program and is a member of the Laurel Highlands Chefs and Cooks Association.  Mr. Joseph Rocker will continue to serve as Sous Chef under Chef Szymanski.
